Glass lantern slides of places, topography, plants, and animals, primarily in western Canada. Glass lantern slides of parts of the United States, particularly the states of Arizona and Utah, 1936 and 1937. Approximately 150 lantern slides and eight Dufaycolour slides of cities, geological formations, general scenes of natural monuments such as the Grand Canyon, in Arizona, Utah, and California, taken by M.P. Bridgland in 1936 and 1937. Animals and plants, particularly those of western Canada, including such animals as mountain sheep, mountain goats, bears, and flowers and trees. General views of Vancouver and Victoria, as well as of public gardens. Views of Barkerville and surroundings, particularly of mining. Lumbering in British Columbia. General views of British Columbia, including mountains, national parks and sites, glaciers, river valleys, etc. Forest fires. Petroleum industry in Alberta. Banff and vicinity, Alberta. Indians, primarily at the Calgary Stampede. Views of Alberta, including Edmonton and the Peace River Block, as well as some historical views of southern Alberta. Calgary, including general and historical views. Rodeos, primarily of the Calgary Stampede. Views in eastern provinces, including Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, mainly of historic sites, as well as of Toronto, Hamilton, and Ottawa. Commercially produced views of Japan. Views of England and Switzerland by M.P. Bridgland.
