Series consists of registry files created and/or maintained by the Health Services and Promotions Branch and its predecessors. The records were filed in block 300 of the old registry system and in blocks 6000-6099 in the new. Volumes 2346-2347 contain reports to the Federal-Provincial Advisory Committee on Hospital Insurance and Diagnostics Services to the Minister of National Health and Welfare on the following subjects: the operation of the Department of Dietetics; teaching hospitals; administrative aspects of emergency services; nursing aspects of emergency services; and ambulance services. These reports were prepared by working groups and subcommittees for the Advisory Committee.

Moving images consists of a 1965 film entitled Report on the First Canadian Youth Conference on Smoking and Health.

Note sur le classement :

Accessions 1985-86/235 and 1986-87/047 have both been broken up since file numbers/titles match many of the other records in HSPB. This favours functional arrangement against intellectual original order. The breaking up also follows the lead of the permanent volumes from the central registry system. The records here are administrative rather than operational.
