Film includes the following sequences:~Scenes taken from the deck of the SS Estevan on a windy day at Pachena Light; crewmen prepare a surf boat and lower it; the boat is filled with supplies; the lifeboat from Bamfield approaches and, with its strong engine takes the surf boat in tow toward the surf smashing against the rocks; a long boom extends out from a bluff above the sea and a hook is lowered to the crew of the surf boat who attach a waterproofed bundle of supplies; the supplies are arried up to land and the boom swung over when the bundle reaches the block.~Kinney has managed to get ashore as the next shot shows the crew of the surf boat rowing hard to keep the boat off the rocks while the rest of the supplies are landed. Finally they row out to sea in the swell.~Scenes shot from Pachena Point, including the surf boat bobbing in a small bay delivering supplies to shore; the surf boat rowing back to the SS Estevan; the SS Estevan; a motor surf boat cruising beneath the bluff; surf and shoreline; supplies being unloaded from the surf boat; the lighthouse crew disconnecting the hook from the supplies and making the hamper ready again; and lighthouse shots with the lighthouse crew, the keeper, and his wife.~Shots of the Pachena Point Light; views around the lighthouse; people on the rocks waiting; a man coming ashore in a small dingy; shed, houses, etc.; life-rope gun being loaded; a group posing, including Nurse McKinnon and the keeper; and a boat offshore.~Views from Pachena including the SS Estevan lying offshore; the surf pounding in; and a man in a dingy being lowered from a boom into the waiting surf boat.~Aboard ship again with two large light buoys laid out on deck. Close ups of the Captain and Mate of the SS Estevan. Shot of Mel Swartout on float at Bamfield.
