The sub-series includes correspondence, scrapbooks, scripts and other material documenting the career of Sarah Gersovitz's brother, Henry Gamer, as an actor, largely in Montreal theatre, Radio-Canada radio and television, and some film. Included in the series is a small amount of correspondence, including four letters from theatre critic Herbert Whittaker reminiscing about theatre, three cards from fellow actor Walter Massey, and a postcard from designer Louis Negin. There is one undated letter from Henry to Sarah Gersovitz when he is on the road in a production in Ottawa. The scrapbooks contain clippings of reviews and programmes as well as photographs of Henry Gamer documenting productions by the Montreal Repertory Theatre, Montreal Studio Theatre, Shoestring Theatre, Heritage Theatre, Trinity Players, YM-YWHA Little Theatre, Harlequin Theatre, Canadian Art Theatre, Montreal Drama Guild, La Poudrière, Saidye Bronfman Centre, Canadian Repertory Theatre, Red Barn, Piggery Playhouse, Mountain Playhouse, and Theatre Rencontre. In addition there are publicity photographs of Gamer and some snapshots. The scripts document various theatre, radio, television or film productions in which Henry Gamer acted. Included are three scripts by Denys Arcand, including his film "Rejeanne Padovani" and two episodes of Radio-Canada's Duplessis series 1977; variant scripts for the film "The Mourning Suit", written by Joe Wiesenfeld and Leonard Yakir and filmed in Winnipeg in 1973; "The Street" written by Mordecai Richler for CBC-TV in 1978; and the script for "The Vicious Circle", a production directed by Gamer.
