Fonds consists sound recordings of oral history interviews, conducted by Janice Manchee and sponsored by the Public Service Alliance of Canada, with unionized clerical workers in the federal public service about the impact of technological change. There is also a sound recording of a 1975 plenary session of the confernece on Sex Discrimination in the Civil Service held at the National Archives auditorium in Ottawa. The conference was sponsored by Local 70059 of the Public Service Alliance of Canada and was chaired by Ms. Molly Waite.

Fonds also consists of video recordings of part of the proceedings of the 10th Triennial Conference of the Public Service Alliance held in Winnnipeg in June, 1976.

Formed in 1966 as a result of a merger between the Civil Service Association of Canada and the Civil Service Federation of Canada, PSAC exists to help its members have a voice in their workplace and in their community.
