The film traces the history of the railroad with titles and old engines and cars from the unions inception to the contemporary automated techniques. Footage of wrecks between trains and autos, as well as good material of trains moving in stations and across the USA and Canada. Provides statistical information. The film traces the deeds and accomplishments of the Brotherhood who run hospitals for tubercular patients, war veterans, and people injured by trains, as well as museums and parks. In 1923 Lt. Gov. George R. Lunn of New York dedicates a caboose in Oneonta, NY with Brotherhood President W.G. Lee presiding. Good shots of Charles G. Woodworth, first Grand Master of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, in 1883.
