Sub-series consists of records relating to the CN Pavilion Expo 86. The series includes correspondence, construction files and guestbooks. Volume 14979 contains reference material related to Expo 67. The records were maintained by the Central administration of Canadian National in Montréal. Additionally, there are three certificates awarded to individuals (Mark Hicox, Marie-France Bourgeois, and Rick Baxter) and one Award of Excellence presented to Canadian National Railway Co. and Peter Cardew Architects for outstanding architectural design of the CN Pavillion of 1986.

The sub-series includes colour prints and negatives depicting operation of the CN pavilion at EXPO 86 in Vancouver. The photographs depict staff, visitors and activities at the pavilion, as well as giving interior and exterior views of the pavilion itself. Photographers include Cindy Bellamy, Perspective 5, and Kent Kallberg. Visitors include the Hon. Pat Carney, the Hon. Bill Bennett, the Hon. Tom Macmillan, and various other dignitaries. Twenty eight prints are included in an album entitled, `Memory Book - CN Participation in Expo `86, Vancouver.`

Additionally, the sub-series contains one poster and one broadside. The broadside was issued by the Nova Scotia Railway in 1862 to promote "Cheap Fares" to Halifax. The poster advertises the CN Pavillion at Expo '86.

The sub-series also contains an encased plaque with a railway spike commemorating the CNR involvement in Expo '86.
