Television interview program with host, Lorraine Thompson.~Lorraine Thompson in interview with John Walker who served three and a half years as a foreign correspondent for Southam News Bureau in Peking during the Cultural Revolution in China. Walker discusses major events that occured during his stay: the dealth of Chairman Mao and its subsequent effect on the regime; his experience in the event of a devastating earthquake in the area of Peking; and the difficult task of working under the stringent restrictions of the Chinese government.~Lorraine Thompson also talks with Samuel Hersenhoren, a musicien who worked 50 years in radio and television. He discusses his early days working in radio studios under inadequate conditions; his work with numerous chambre orchestras and bands, which led him to his successful career as musical conductor on the comedy program WAYNE AND SHUSTER. <30mn>
