A number of unedited interviews about a fishing trip, a caterer near Halifax, Nova Scotia who specializes in lobster and a sail off the Nova Scotia coast aboard the schooner Bluenose II. The segment about the Bluenose includes vivid actuality sounds of the wind and the waves, ships' whistles and horns, and the creaking of timbers. Bill McNeil tours the ship, interviews crew members and does some commentaries about the Bluenose, frequently interrupted by loud ships' horns. One of the members of the crew talks about his first acting job, playing a Portuguese fisherman ina recently-made movie starring Patricia Neal and Ronnie Howard (the name of the film is not mentioned). There are also some apparently unrelated interview fragments about the pulp and paper industry.
