Parts of interviews of Lord Parry. Lord Parry talks about: Wales, its size compared to that of Canada; the Welsh talent for singing; the Welsh speaking voice; the close-knit quality of Welsh families; Welsh contributions to the theatre; Welsh culture; Welsh music and composers. He makes a reference to efforts to persuade Welsh-born singer Tom Jones to perform in Wales in 1983. Lord Parry also makes reference to plans to attend a singing festival in Toronto next year and a Music of Wales concert tour in Canada, also planned for the coming year.~The second interview consists of a tour of the House of Lords by Lord Parry and Bill McNeil. Lord Parry describes the chambers, the layout of the building and the architecture. The tour ends abruptly when a House of Lords official informs Lord Parry that he should not be giving the tour.~Lord Parry then talks about: the history of the House of Lords, life peers, the admission of women members of the House of Lords in 1958; and his daily routine.
