Casson is interviewed at his home in Toronto by long-time friend and fellow artist Alan Collier. The beginning of the interview involves Casson's upcoming show at the Roberts Gallery, the prices of his paintings and the problem of art speculators. Also mentioned are: the deterioration of artists as they age; death of painter Frank Carmichael, health of various friends and Casson's sketching trips to the United Kingdom in 1961 and 1963. Casson describes a recent ceremony at Toronto City Hall where he received a Civic Award of Merit and talks about his other awards including a Gold Medal from the Advertising Association of Canada.
