Casson is interviewed at his home in Toronto by long-time friend and fellow artist Alan Collier. Casson discusses his move to the Sampson-Matthews studio in 1926 and describes various colleagues in the art department. Other topics discussed include: Casson's introduction into the Group of Seven and the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts in 1926, the controversy surrounding the Wembley Show, his formation of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour along with Frank Carmichael. Casson gives a detailed description of a two week sketching trip taken with Group of Seven members to Lake Superior and tells anecdotes about painter Lawren Harris' eccentricities.
