Shots of Red Tribunal issuing summary judgements, "Court Room", military predominant, chained convicts being kept in cage as soldiers with guns and scimtars stand guard. Shots of British soldiers marching. Native traffic, carts, barrows, bicycles and pedestrians. Train pulling in, many people riding tops of cars, soldiers in evidence besied track, people carrying personal effects, walking past the camera - refugees, overcrowded boat pulling away from wharf, of tumult in streets of Mankeou, native constabulary trying to control crowd. Shots of milling, packed crowd, some breaking into shops with intention of looting, of elements of the Cantonese army marching through huge, dense crowd, dense crowd in agitated state, people trying to break into buildings, of dense crowd of students, banners flying, orator speaking, crowd surging forward - Shangai: British soldiers admitting people through compound gate. Shots of soldiers of General Ankochun firing mortars, or Renault tanks advancing through a town followed by soldiers on foot. Soldiers are shown marching prisoners past the camera.
