The transmission of the games through this technology is explained.~The broadcast then cuts to footage of the track and field event - the running of the 3 mile men's race - which is in progress. Chataway comes in first with a time of 13 minutes 34 seconds and Green takes second place. During the running of the race the announcer comments on the women's high jump event and the discus throw.~The final event shown is the Miracle Mile race.
