This accession consists of annuity paylists, treaty 3 census, indian paysheets of Indian Agent R.J.N. Pither, and interest distribution paylists for the Fort Frances District; a birth and death register (1930-1951), and interest distribution paylists for the Blackfoot/Stoney-Sarcee District; along with interest payment ledgers, agency copies of the Indian Membership Registration (c1950), along with mixed agent's account records (1935-1951) for the Saddle Lake/Athabaska District.

This material was found at DIAND Headquarters by Ray Rodgers as part of a special project to locate and process legacy material remaining in the department. The department has no knowledge as to when this material was transferred from the District Offices to Headquarters. As a result the provenance of these records has been lost. They have been accessioned according to the District Offices that DIAND has indicated on the outside of the boxes that were transferred to the NA. The assumption has been made that this accession consists of material that the District Offices inherited from the various agencies that fell under their control.
