As with its predecessor, the Marketing and Economics Branch, the Market and Industry Services Branch is responsible for working with the agri-food sector to enhance its global competitiveness and, in so doing, increase the sector's share of both domestic and international markets for agriculture and agri-food products.
This accession consists of operational records associated with the Agricultural Products Marketing Act. Subjects include legislation, Alberta, Prince Edward Island, Ontario and New Brunswick potato marketing, and mushroom industry surveys.
