Sub-series consists of material used in preparing the history of the Commodity Prices Stabilization Corporation (CPSC), and the history itself. Note that volumes 1803-1817 were added to the series only in October 2007. Almost all of the files in these volumes are connected to the History of the Commodity Prices Stabilization Corporation but topics covered by these files include material that is relevant to the following subjects associated with other sub-series related to the CPSC: domestic subsidies, subsidy recovery, coal, selected manuals, ship stores, export surcharges as well as binders and files explicitly labelled history of the corporation.

(Papier) Finding aid 64-2 is a typed keyword index sorted by the organizational unit or sub-group index number. In the case of these records the relevant index number is 2060. This finding aid is available in four red bound volumes and in a paper computer print-outs. Each entry in the file list consists of the following elements: keyword, file name, opening and closing date of the file, the Record Group number (always 64), sub-group number, box (or volume) number, file number, and file part number. 64-2

Note: volumes 1803-1817 were volumes processed at a much earlier date and added to this series in October 2007 when it was realized that they had been inadvertantly left out of the inventory and hence not incorporated into the automated holdings system upon conversion.
