Recherche dans la collection - Subject files of the Maritime Command Headquarters [textual record]

The accession consists of subject files created and maintained in the central registry by the Commander of Maritime Command, then headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The files are arranged according to the National Defence / Canadian Forces file classification system and relate to administration, organization, establishment, operations, training, personnel and equipment and ships. In addition there are other series of MARCOM records which were, due to their nature handled differently. These include Courts Martial, redress of grievances, boards of inquiry, security files, cadet files and Operational Evaluations.

This accession was shipped to the HFRC with the records of a number of other MARCOM Offices. The records of these other offices have been accessioned separately under the same BAN number. Boxes 1-76, 95-115, 122-123, 125-143, 158-159, 162-163 form part of this Mikan record.
These records were originally held in Nova Scotia. They were transferred to the National Capital Region in 2016 and are available for consultation there.
