MORTGAGE. Report on Canadian homeowners' struggle to pay high mortgage rates. Terry and Julie Sebastian describe their ordeal and share some of the sadness their family experienced as they are interviewed outside their former home. 3. POLAND. Report on strike and walkouts in Poland due mainly to the shortage of food. Shots of Polish Prime Minister, Wojciech Jaruzelski addressing a parliamentary session in Warsaw, and of Solidarity leader Lech Walesa appealing to a crowd of strikers to end their strike. 4. AWACS DEAL. Report from Washington on Senate approval of the sale of AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control Systems) to Saudi Arabia.
