Documentary based on archival footage and including brief summaries of the Stanley Cup semi-final games of 1959 between the Montreal Canadiens and the Chicago Blackhawks as well as between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins. Following are the highlights of the Stanley Cup final games between the Montreal Candiens (C) and the Toronto Maple Leafs (TO) as well as teams lineups, players, scores, individual records and trophy winners. Also included is a summary of the season 1958-1959, all 40 goals scorers and live comments by coaches Punch Imlach (TO) and Toe Blake (C).
