Karl Beveridge (Interviewer)Description :Oral history interview by Carole Condé and Karl Beveridge of George Day, worker at General Motors of Canada, Oshawa, Ontario, and founding member and union steward of Local 222, United Automobile Workers, and Rose Day, an office worker at G.M. and member of the Women's Auxiliary of the U.A.W. George recalls details of his early life and his work in the trimming division at G.M. while Rose discusses her work in the office.
