Sub-sub-series consists of records relating to the marking of the Maine-New Brunswick boundary under the terms of the Webster-Ashburton Treaty. The sub-sub-series contains tables and diagrams pertaining to the creation of the boundary. This volume is inscribed "Copied under my superintendence at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich in the months of August, September and October in 1850, from the original book marked in manuscript in the hand writing of Lt Col Estcourt. ... The appendix which was delivered to me to be copied, from the Foreign Office. CB Airy, Royal Observatory, Greenwich, 19 October 1850."

This volume was presented to the Chief Astronomer in 1906. In 1923, JJ McArthur, British Commissioner of the International Boundary Commission, transferred these tables, along with 10 additional atlases of maps of the Treaty of 1842, to the then Public Archives.
