Series consists of minutes of proceedings, reports by committees, bills, addresses, messages, petitions, returns and other documents. The records are arranged by sessions of Parliament.

Maps and plans extracted from the records of the Senate include: Quebec City wharfs; Prince Arthur Landing and Kaministiquia Railway; Kewatin; CPR routes in British Columbia; railway lines connecting Montreal with the harbours of Halifax and St. John; P.E.I Railway; Kettle Valley Railway; provisional boundary line White Pass and Chilkoot Pass and the region of Dalton Train; hydrographic charts of Nelson Roads and Port Churchill; Lake of the Woods; railway routes between Lake Superior and Fort Garry; Sturgeon Falls and Rat Portage.

Boundary atlases and maps from the Sessional papers are connected with 6 sessional papers of the House of Commons, 1964-1967. The atlases deal with interprovincial boundaries and the Greber Report and the maps deal with the Northumberland Strait Crossing.

The land use information series consists of an atlas factice made from the land use information series maps and bound for "Sessional paper No. 291-3/81 Monday Feb 23 1973". Map sheets show the possibe impact of the proposed Mackenzie Valley pipeline on the ecology of the North. The land use information series was jointly funded by the Dept. of Indian Affairs and Northern Development and the Dept. of the Environment. Maps show wildlife and fisheries resources, hunting, trapping and fishing, archaeological sites, historic notes, and where applicable recreation and tourism, coastal classification and sea-ice conditions. Maps produced by the Land Use Planning Branch of the Lands Directorate, Lands, Forests and Wildlife Service, Dept. of the Environment, 1972. Research by S.G. de Belle, P.H. Beaubier and S.D. Thomson.
