The second of a five-part documentary series on the 1965 Federal Election campaign in York-Scarborough. This program describes the strategies adopted by the three parties in the campaign, and consists of narration and interviews of candidates, party workers, and citizens living in the riding.~Included among those heard are the candidates of the three major parties: Frank McGee, Robert Stanbury and Ed Phillips; Pat McCulloch, Liberal Campaign Chairman; Paul Weed, McGee's campaign director; Keith Davey, National Progressive Conservative (P.C.) Leader; Ed Goodman, National P.C. Vice-President; Bob Smilie, Liberal Strategist; M.J. Moreau, former Liberal M.P.; and Robert Catherwood, President of the P.C. Riding Association. There are also comments on John Diefenbaker and his influence on the P.C. campaign strategy emphasizing person rather than party. <1h>
