While migrating this file as part of the 2013-2016 migration project it was determined that there were 80 extra records in the migrated file. The records were deleted using a remove duplicates records command in UltraEdit. As a result, the migrated file contains 619 records as per the documentation. The original file contains the extra 80 records for a total count of 699 records.
It is assumed these records were placed in the file as part of the original 9-track tape migration exercise that was undertaken in 1987. It is assumed the records were placed in the file because someone used a fill block parameter in the original Job Control Language (JCL) that was used to copy the material from one tape to another.
The original data were migrated from tape P16256 and then converted from EBCDIC to ASCII using UltraEdit.

Digital records migrated to new preservation media in 2013.
