This series, (volume 26), consists of the following items: memoir by Jacques Repentigny Legardeur de Saint Pierre, 1752, on his trip for the discovery of the Western sea in 1750; voyage of HMS Winchelsea from Charleston, South Carolina, to New York, in convoy, 1758; report by Alexander Fraser on his exploratory survey of the Ohio and Illinois country, Pensacola, 1766; report on a journey by land from Pensacola, 13-14 July, 1766; letter from Lt. Thomas Hutchins, Pensacola, 15 October, 1768, enclosing a journal kept by Sergeant Wright during his journey from Pensacola to visit the Upper Creek Indians; list of Indian tribes on the Mississippi supplied by Charles Stuart, 1773; report of Hugh Finlay on his survey of a post road from Quebec to Falmouth and of his attempts to get the Assembly of Massachusetts to agree to open the road; report of an expedition from Simpson's Cliff to Pensacola; notes by Harry Gordon on the country from Cascaskia to New Orleans; notes on the Campeachy and neighbourhood. There are also maps.

Also included are: list of militia raised in Yucatan in 1762; remarks on the Mississippi by Col. Maxwell; list of names of towns; instructions given by the Congress to privateers cruising the St. Lawrence; report on distances from Trois Pistoles to Restigouche; and re-survey of Hugh Parker's land at Salisbury Plains, Maryland, 1750. This material is located on microfilm reel A-615.
