Series consists of drafts of some 1335 poems by Acorn which do not appear in any of his collections published during his lifetime. Included are poems that may have been published in periodicals, but were not collected. Arranged alphabetically by title, or where untitled by first line (where a poem bears more than one title, what appeared to be the last title was used in determining its location within the arrangement). A poster entitled "The Battle of Khorramshahr" is in horizontal storage, container 56.

Series also consists of published and unpublished poems filed alphabetically dating 1945-1986. Some of the titles included are "Abandonment of Bhopa", "Behind the Door Marked No Admission", "Charley Winjak", "Death Walks on Quiet Feet", "A Girl's Dream" and "Legend".

Series also consists of published and unpublished poems filed alphabetically dating 1957-1971. Some of the titles included are "Alcoholics", "An Atheist's Prayer", "The House is Gone", "I Am in Love with the Lover of Evil" and "To a Cockroach".

Series also consists of published and unpublished poems filed chronologically dating 1949-1970. Some of the titles include "Poem for One of the Annettes", "House", "February Sparrow", "Presence and Absence", "My Blind Comerade's Vision" and "Haiku".
