The performers, none of whom is professional, are former woodsmen, who recall in their songs and ballads the early days in the lumber camps and sawmills along the Miramichi River. Broadcaster Ken Homer, who is master of ceremonies, narrates and hosts the program. He talks with the singers and traces the background of the Festival and the origins of the songs in a conversation with Dr. Louise Manny, an historian, librarian and folklorist who originated the Miramachi Folk Festival four years ago at the suggestion of Lord Beaverbrook. <30mn>Langue :EnglishRemarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
