There are 100 boys and a handful of teaching masters there. The teachers come from all over Canada and the United States, along with their families. They join the school staff and “The Company of the Cross” for a yearly wage of $365.000, a dollar a day. The approach to teaching and learning at St. John’s is varied. The history of the fur trade is used as a basis for teaching French and other subjects on the curriculum. The sports program at the school includes a 1,000-mile canoe trip, snowshoe hikes and races that take boys 300 miles during a complete season of competition. <30mn>Langue :EnglishRemarques :Détails de l'inventaire : -
