Munro, Robert Donald : Robert Donald Munro, public servant, was the Director of Programme Co-Ordination and Implementation for the Canadian Council of Resources and Environment Ministers (C.C.R.E.M.) from October 1967 to September 1970. From March 1971 to September 1971, he was organizer and Secretary for the First International Parliamentary Conference on Environment, held at Bonn in July 1971. Munro was engaged as a consultant for the United Nations Secretariat for the Conference on the Human Environment and the Interparlamentarische Arbeitsgemeinschaft in Bonn.

From January 1973 to January 1975, he was Second Officer in the Environment and Housing Division of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe in Geneva. From February 1975 to September 1976, he held concurrent positions as Director of Bilateral and Multilateral Relations for the Ministry of State for Urban Affairs, Advisor on International Affairs for the Canadian delegation to the United Nations Conference on Human Settlements held at Vancouver in June 1976.

Munro served as Director General of the Directorate for International Affairs for the Ministry of State for Urban Affairs and the Central Mortgage and Housing Corporation of the Government of Canada, from October 1976 to March 1979.
