The manuscript was copied in 1972.Provenance :Biographie/Histoire administrative :Desbarats, Peter, 1933- : Peter Desbarats, born in 1933 at Montreal, Que., worked as a freelance writer with a number of Canadian newspapers. These papers included The Gazette, Montreal 1953-1955, the Winnipeg Tribune, 1956-1960, The Montreal Star, 1960-1965, and the Toronto Star, 1971-1973. He was associated with the CBC from 1966 until 1971. He became the Ottawa Bureau Chief, Global Television in 1974.
He has authored several books including the Canadian Illustrated News, 1970.
