Fonds consists of correspondence, reports and clippings, original, 1974-1978, 0.40m, photocopy, 1978, 0.110m; the history of the Sellar family in the Chateauguay Valley, Quebec, and of the Huntingdon Gleaner, photocopy, 1978, 0.010m. Also contains correspondence and sound recordings on S. Sinclair's research on the Office of the Auditor General, 1973 to 1983.

Fonds also consists of sound recordings of oral history interviews by Sonja Sinclair conducted during the research phase for Sinclair's book, Bata : shoemaker to the world.

Fonds also includes photographic material consisting of portraits of R.W. Sellar, Auditor General of Canada, 1940-1959, by Malak, Ottawa.

Sinclair, Sonja, 1921- : Sonja Sinclair, author and journalist, is a graduate of the Carleton University School of Journalism and the University of Toronto, She has worked as a free-lance journalist and as director of the Ontario Royal Commission on Book Publishing. She is the author of "I presume you can type: The Mature Woman's Guide to Second Careers" (Toronto, 1969) and "Cordial but not Cosy. A History of the Office of the Auditor General" (Toronto, 1979).
