Fonds consists of Southern Italy Earthquake Fund; National Congress of Italian-Canadians; subject files, including multiculturalism, immigration, human rights, affirmative action, broadcasting, and the Marconi Exhibit Centre.

The fonds also includes photographs depicting a ceremony marking the beginning of reconstruction of the Basilicata and Campania regions destroyed by earthquake. Photographs are by Comando Acroporto "U Nintta", Italy.

Vincelli, Frank : Frank Vincelli, community leader, was born and educated in Montreal. In 1936 he joined the Norton Steel Company Ltd., and went on to become its vice president in 1947, and since 1971, its owner and president. Mr. Vincelli has been associated with a number of professional and community service organizations including the American Society for Medals, the Canadian Steel Service Centre Institute, the Montreal Board of Trade and the Board of Directors of the Santa Cabrini Hospital Foundation of Montreal. In addition, Mr. Vincelli was co-founder of the Federation of Italian Associations of Quebec, which later became the National Congress of Italian Canadians (NCIC).

While acting as president of the NCIC from 1980-1984, he served as president of the 1980 Southern Italy Earthquake Relief Committee which was responsible for the Canadian aid program for the reconstruction of six earthquake-devastated areas. In 1982 he was presented with the Outstanding Citizen Award for Montreal; he was also cited as Personality of the Year by the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association, and received the honour of Cavaliere Ufficiale dell'Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana.

The album of photographs was presented to Frank Vincelli, president of the Southern Italy Earthquake Relief Committee, By Col. Umberto Formbano, Capodichino Air Base, Naples, Italy.
