Fonds consists of textual records: personal papers; community affairs; Canadian political and economic affairs; Zionism and the Middle East conflict materials including correspondence, letters to the editor, articles and book reviews by Rosenberg and research material collected by Rosenberg.

Fonds also contains photographs, 1973-1974, depicting Henry Rosenberg speaking at Israel Bonds dinner, Royal York Hotel, Toronto, Ontario; and Henry Rosenberg with Mr. Justice Ivan Rand and General Moshe Dayan. Photographs by Willy Lobel and Leo Hausman.

Rosenberg, Henry S., 1900-1976 : Henry S. Rosenberg, barrister, solicitor, was born in Dwinsk, Latvia, and immigrated to Canada with his family in 1905 and settled in Toronto. He received his B.A. from McMaster University in 1920, and graduated from Osgoode Hall in 1923. Founder and senior partner of Rosenberg Walsh Smith & Paton, Toronto, he practiced corporation and commercial law from 1923 until his retirement from active practice in 1963. He served as Assistant Administrator, Wartime Prices and Trade Board from 1942 to 1945.

Rosenberg returned to university, obtaining his M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Arizona. He also wrote numerous letters ot newspapers and articles on a wide range of subjects mostly concerning economic issues and the Middle East conflict. Rosenberg was one of the founders and past president of the Toronto Jewish Welfare Fund and the Ontario Zionist Council. He served as director and executive member of Mount Sinai Hospital and the Baycrest Geriatric Centre.
