The collection consists of local historical records relating to Westmorland County, New Brunswick. It includes two commissions of Oyer and Terminer, 1805 and 1821 (2.5 cm of textual records), vol. 1; the record of proceedings in the Court of Common Pleas, 1785-1830 (9 cm of textual records), vol. 2; and the record of proceedings of the General Sessions of the Peace, 1785-1809 (3.5 cm of textual records), vol. 3. These records are also available on microfilm reel C-3201, and the paper files (volumes 1 to 3) have been withdrawn from circulation.

The collection also holds census records of the the parishes of Botsford and Moncton, 1861 (microfilm reel M-559) and a register of marriages for Westmorland County, N.B., 1790-1835 (microfilm reel M-828). These records are only available on microfilm.
