It has at different times of its history included representatives from Canada's Croatian, Slovak, Ukrainian, Estonian Lithuanian and Latvian communities as well as representatives from other Eastern European minorities in Canada. The League's objective is to promote the exchange of information between member groups on problems peculiar to one or all of them. In addition, the League seeks to make the Western democracies aware of the problems faced by the minorities it represents, and to work towards the realization of democratic freedoms for the peoples for whom it serves as spokesperson.Information additionnelle :Note générale :Received from the Mutual Co-operation League in 1979 through the courtesy of Milan Jakubec, president of the League.Vedette-matière :- Mutual Co-operation League of Canada - Constitution, [1955] Slovak Legion, [1949-1974]
