He came to Canada as a Loyalist refugee in 1780 and settled in Lancaster Township, later Upper Canada in 1784. Jacob's son, John P. Snyder (1767-1848) married Janet Wood, and their daughter Janet Snyder (1829-1925) married Andrew Helps (1828-1898) in 1851.Information additionnelle :Note générale :Received in 1983 from J.
