Fonds consists of a land grant of Benjamin Street, March Township, 1827; militia commission of John G. Street, 1847; and deed of sale for ordnance lands, 1869, and the last will and testament of John Heney, 1890.

Heney, John, fl. 1857-1887 : John Heney became an alderman for the City of Ottawa in 1857, and served as an alderman or councillor until 1887, missing only the years 1869 and 1877. Heney was also a prominent local entrepreneur and a close associate of Nicholas Sparks.

Benjamin Street, a Captain with the Royal Navy, settled in March Township in 1820, shortly after Hamnett Pinhey. In 1893, John Heney's son, Frederick Augustus, married Ida Mary Street, a descendant of Benjamin Street.
