General note:

The prints in this album document Canadian army activities and operations in North West Europe from August 26, 1944 - September 8, 1944. The album documents the Allied crossing of the Seine and army activities around; Elboeuf, Tostes, Rouen, Dieppe, Abbeville, Pourville, Bernay, Nieuport, Montreul sur Mer, Furnes, St. Omer, and the occupation of Paris. Also included in the album are; Canadian War Memorial at Thiberville, Bailey bridge across the Seine, French resistance fighters, war wounded in hospital, Main Press Camp, Canadian Cemetery Service, religious services, Essex Scottish Pipe Band, captured Buzz Bomb site, and demining operations.
