This series consists of records of the Canadian Historical Association's committees and sections. The purposes of the committees range from governance (Nominating Committee) and operations (Travel and Grants, Internet Communications, and Digitization) to professional issues (Ethics, Teaching of History, and Graduate Studies) and research interests (Regional History, Statistical Research, Intellectual History Group, Canadian Committee on Women's History, Public History, Canadian History of Sexuality, and Canadian Committee on History and Computing in Canada). Several of the committees also award prizes. Some of the other committees with records represented in this series include the Archives Section; Committee on the Historical Profession; Committee on the Teaching of History; and the Committee on the Bicentennial of the French Revolution.
