Scope and content:

This series consists of material documenting the family history and genealogy of the McCarthy and Campbell families. Leighton Goldie McCarthy and Muriel Drummond Campbell both originated from European noble families that later met in Canada.

This series includes correspondence; photographs; a military medal belonging to the Campbell family (1814); pieces of the Campbell family tartan; an annotated family Bible dating to 1739; and biographical notes. In addition, this series contains three portrait miniatures and five framed photographs depicting various members of the Campbell and McCarthy families.
