Accession consists of central registry files from the 1450 Block of the second National Research Council central registry system. The 1450 Block contains individual files related to the NRC's liaison and participation in various associations, clubs and committees, including the Acoustical Society of America, the American Vacuum Society, Oceanography, the Canadian Agricultural Services Co-ordination Committee (CASCC), the International Bureau of Weights and Measures, the Consultative Committee for Standards of Measurements Applicable to Ionizing Radiations, International Commission on Illumination (CIE), the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), the International Radio Consultative Committee, the Canadian National Committee of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics, the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics, the Royal Society of Canada, etc.
