Collection search - Classified registry files of the Executive Secretariat [textual record]

Classified registry files are departmental records that have been assigned a classification of "confidential" or higher. The files are maintained as "special" records in an area separate from the regular central registry operations of the department and belong to a unique three-digit filing system. Classified records are maintained on all aspects of transport Canada's operations and responsibilities especially in subject areas that fall within the jurisdiction of the Executive Secretariat such as research and development, international relations and arctic transportation.
The records in this accession deal with a variety of administrative and operational matters including the following: departmental and interdepartmental committees, legislation, personnel and awards, departmental organization, civil aviation policy development, environmental concerns, emergency planning, international relations and highway policy.
