Sub-series consist of correspondence, notes, memos, briefings, position papers, near-print material, agendas, minutes news clippings and so on.
They are ranged more-or-less in alpha order, by the key term in the title.
Many of these files may at one time have been in the main Agricultural Ministry II files, since they were originally in yellow-jackets, as had been the AM II file run. Hence, they may have been files worked on by staffers in the minister's office, and not returned to the main correspondence system. Whatever the case, many of these files, often in blocs of 3-4 or more, address significant agricultural themes, topics, agencies or issues. For example, there are, inter alia, Canadian Pork Council, Canadian Dairy Commission and Canadian Livestock Feed Board files here, as well as files on Finance Canada Excise taxes on agricultural products, on national agricultural programs, on the F.A.O. and world food policies.

This sub-series is an artificial unit, put together by the archivist out of files and groups of files that seemed to hang by themselves amongst the original mass of the Whelan donation.
