Scope and content:

Album consists of 84 folios of drawings and notes made by Sir James Alexander from January to September 1843 while he was serving with the 14th Reg't of Foot in London, Ontario. They are nearly all outdoor scenes including other officers, local pepole, buildings, and numerous places including views of Goderich, Brandtford, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Paris, St. Catherines and St. Mary's.
