Collection search - Central registry files of Northern Administration and Lands Branch [textual record]

This accession consists of land transaction files used by a wide variety of interests including the Alaska Highway Project, other highway rights of way in northern British Columbia and Canada's territories, northern townsites and group lots, waterfront, homestead and hay leases and gravel permits. The files themselves contain correspondence, lease, lot and land sale documents as well as a number of photographs, maps, plans and sketches relating to these properties, projects or communities. The file classification system is that of the Lands Division, low digit 1-, 2-, 3-, up to 9-series of the Northern Administration Branch.
