However the photographer recently requested he retain it, stating he was not aware that LAC had copyright. Therefore, the entire fonds is copyright Ben Mark Holzberg. During the same meeting, Holzberg gave permission for digitized copies of his work to appear on the LAC website. Any image that he allows a client to reproduce can have a low-resolution scan appear on the LAC site without the need for a second request by LAC to do so. Note added November 16, 2006.
