Sub-series consists of records of appointments, resignations, retirements, illnesses, deaths, annuities, gratuities, allowances, etc. for judges appointed by the Government of Canada. These files were separated by the Department of Justice from the files of the main central registry (R188-38-6-E).

Also included is a base map: Map of the province of Manitoba showing the surveys el[e]cted to 1st March 1873 published by the Dept. of the Secretary of State, Dominion Lands Office, 30 June 1873. On verso: Map accompanyint despatch of 25 Feby 1874 relating to the electoral districts of Manitoba.
