Scope and content:

Series consists of scrip records created and maintained by the Department. The records in this series include a nominal index of applications to leave Treaty and take scrip, 1870-1920 (Vol. 10035); lists of half-breeds who withdrew from Treaty, 1885-1926 (Vols. 10037-10038, 10040); lists of half-breeds who received scrip and later re-entered Treaty, 1885- 1910 (Vol. 10039); and records relating to scrip payments and other accounts, 1884-1903 (Vol. 10036).
