Album contains photographs taken which relate to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's tour of Canada, and visit to Jasper National Park, in 1914. Included are views of prominent buildings in Ottawa, Ontario, Winnipeg, Manitoba and Edmonton, Alberta; various scenes along the route of the Grand Trunk Railway in Alberta and British Columbia; Jasper National Park; Maligne River and Canyon; and a tour through the Rocky Mountains. Photographs by William James Topley.

Doyle, Arthur Conan, Sir, 1859-1930 : Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of Sherlock Holmes and author of many novels and historical works, in his later years became interested in spiritualism and lectured and wrote a number of books on the subject. He held strong views on the evidence for spiritual communication.
